About Memphis Economic Indicator

The Memphis Economic Indicator is a local business community tool from The Daily News and The Memphis News. It combines the forecasts of Memphis business leaders with measurable fiscal trends to create a thoughtful analysis of regional economic expectations.

The most important element in this project is the knowledgeable and candid participation of our local business leaders. By providing your input, you are helping create a resource that will improve decision making throughout our local business community and, by extension, our region as a whole. In appreciation for your feedback, we will send the survey results to our respondents before the general public.

Since its beginnings in 1886, The Daily News has served a vital role in the Memphis metro area as the source for daily news and information on business and commerce.

The Memphis Economic Indicator is sponsored by Dixon Hughes Goodman, one of the largest CPA firm based in the Southeast. It has 1,800 colleagues located throughout the region to provide comprehensive accounting and advisory services grounded in the firm’s 80 years of experience.

Please note: The general survey information you provide will be used for reporting purposes, but no identifying participant or company information will be published or distributed.
